It’s a new #songdoro to play
Thinking about pain and gain
Searching for a new meaning
And new ways
Making things happen
And hope to help you make your day— Daniel Wildt
Break song: No Doubt – Don’t Speak.
There’s an extra song at the end, a classic called because the night, in a beautiful version from Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band.

Dave McClure is the guy behind “Pirate Metrics”.
AARRR, a simple acronym, but extremely powerful! Dave is founder of 500 Startups too.
Regarding AARRR, you need to understand that developing customers can be categorised in some important steps:
A – Acquisition, gathering customers to the process.
A – Activation, making leads to become real customers. So… they are using your service.
R – Retention, making sure people love your product and want to continue using it.
R – Referral, they love so much they want to tell other people about you. You are important.
R – Revenue, you get to keep other people money in exchange for a great customer service and quality. 🙂Here’s a presentation about AARRR metrics:
And here’s a great biz talk with Dave McClure and Jason Calacanis (This Week in Startups):
If you are looking for some material in Portuguese related to AARRR, check this presentation from Rafael Helm.

Following some posts about entrepreneurship and interviews, here goes another one about Mark Cuban. He got into lots of business since he was a teenager, and I just found this program on Bloomberg about this history.

Mark Cuban took the Dallas Mavericks to a new level. He is the Mavs owner since 2000. The team before him had like 40% win/loss percentage and from 2000 on, they improve a lot, going for almost 70% in regular season. Great numbers and one word for that: intensity.
They got into the NBA Finals in 2006 (Heat was champion) and finally had the Championship in 2011 (against Heat) .
Check his interview with Jason Calacanis, not on basketball, but into business and all related to the world of entrepreneurship.

There’s this channel on youtube called This Week in Startups, from Jason Calacanis, where we can check some great interviews and great discussions about business, startups and entrepreneurship.
One of the interviews I liked most are from DHH (David Heinemeier Hansson).
He was on the show back in 2011, great moment!
And he was on the show again back in 2013. They talk about business, 37signals (now basecamp), they talk about remote work (book ahead!). Great talk. Check it out!

I was thinking about some goals. About what I want to achieve. The end of the year is approaching… so I guess it’s quite normal to start thinking about next year plans.
