We need to value what we can learn from what came before.
Read philosophers and practitioners who impacted the world, but also remember when and where these people were. The historical context helps a lot in understanding the motivations or restrictions present at the time.
Context matters. The people around the problem matter. Location matters.
And most important of all! You don’t need to belittle a job to be able to establish yours. Do your practice and value your learning and improvement process.
