We give names to a lot of things. But what about feelings?
I feel stuck sometimes and I may say a lot of names, but usually I’m not able to elaborate what’s really happening to me.
Sometimes I’m just angry or frustrated or anxious about something, but I say I’m tired or sad.
Naming our feelings is something special and should be considered.
When I journal I’m able to understand more about the “present me”. When I’m in therapy I’m able to elaborate about my life and decisions I have to take or even understand more about decisions I’ve made.
What have I learned about my life experience? It’s a process, not an event.
