It’s about the system around people.
Some companies still believe they can measure satisfaction only based on local team and local management. I like to think about power distribution and tension resolution inside a company. Works whether you have hierarchy, network, matrix or a circles based org.
People most of the times like their team, but they don’t like the other teams they need to interact with.
I’m thinking lately in a metric like “meantime between tension resolution” to try to understand the energy one need to evolve / stabilize a situation.
It’s about the people you help, people you work directly, people you need to support.
You are responsible to enable a safe space inside your team, to start with. There’s a place we need to create.
