Do what you need to do. A plan with no expected execution should not exist. Make it happen.
The problem with this “mantra” is exhaustion. When I’m running more side projects and going to different places to speaking engagements and lectures, I need more energy to be applied into my working hours. I still need to manage my team and other business I’m responsible for.
Sometimes I can postpone some of my projects, prioritize those who are really generating revenue and more important, profit. But at times, I can’t. I just need to make more time into available time boxes.
When this exhaustion mode takes place, I need to make sure I’m able to have some cadence. I need to be more cautious about space and time to sleep and rest. I need less noise. I need more presence.
Deliver but not at any cost. Remember! It’s an infinite game.
