How can tools influence our way to communicate and work?

Principles can help us run projects when new things happen. Tools can help us with practical abstractions from real world, making it easy to communicate or to understand current status and decisions for projects and initiatives.

“What we’ve got here is failure to communicate“. That’s an old one. I know. But this is present and real as it was 10 or 20 years ago. Collaboration is a current challenge. People with generational styles to manage, execute and communicate.

We can and we should work communication related skills within our teams. But also, understand tools that can be applied to bridge gaps or help on operational decision making.

This can be related on how to prioritize. Or on how to understand SLAs and when to escalate some sort of action.

You will be influenced. I will too. Make sure principles and rules are clear.
