What about the effort required? Is it worth it?

How can we know whether the path will have a reward at the end or not?

We can become experts in a specific subject. We can make continuous gains as we develop.

But we also need to make sure that we are moving towards a real goal. It can’t be wishful thinking.

What sort of KPI (key performance indicators) are we going to use?
Finance related? Impact related? Consistency related?

Putting in the hours speaks to our work ethic often. But do we need to understand that effort alone is not a guarantee of success?
