To feel blindsided. Should this be expected in real life?

Yes, but… we need routine. We need habits. We need expectations? Not sure. We need goals and plans… it’s like a fixed mindset world. Not right, depending on our desired lifestyle.

Sometimes I don’t like when I get myself blindsided. Why not?
It’s like saying that “blindsided” is bad and “surprised” is good?

Important: I’m not talking about bad planning and bad management.

Here’s my way to play with the “blindsided mode“:

  • If I’m building new things and not just operating something regulated and standardized, I should expect to be blindsided along the way. And also should plan free time to fill with stuff not planned or expected.
  • If I’m running a standardized business, I’m ok with “expectation = no surprises “.

Life don’t play as we want it. But we can play our part.
