If you want to hold something, they can be good.
If you are looking for flexibility, you will need ways to unlock what’s needed.

I like chains when we are seeking flow. You understand what’s next and who is waiting for your work. And when you are “waiting on a friend” you also know what to expect.

I don’t like to be “personalized” in a project. It can’t be about me. It should be about someone able to do a job. I prefer to understand roles that we need to be filled. And also understand people who want to grow into those roles.

So chains are part of a journey. They are part of an experience. If you have a chain you can see a journey in place. And you can also understand where’s value inside and where you need to focus to get more strength. Continuous improvement to remove dependencies.
