All the time. Do it on purpose.

I could be using AI to write this text, but this is not the time for me to enhance my questioning and my “prompt engineering” (text that can be recognized and understood by AIs) skills. It’s time to enhance and practice my writing skills. And more specifically, my English writing skills, because this text is not translated from Portuguese. I’m writing on the fly.

It’s time to be me. Who I am at this moment.

When I’m using an AI to research or create something, it’s me doing the research, but the body of knowledge is not 100% curated by me. I didn’t select all the sources.

So I can say the work is directed by me but it’s not 100% me. I’m not using productivity tools to make things faster from the produced content. I’m using tools to produce content… and I have a lot of concern with this process.

How are we able to improve at doing something if we are not doing that something? It’s about the craft. We need to care about the craft.
