If it’s your mission, if it’s something you feel the need to do… who are these people that tell you not to do?
I think of all the blockers who grew up attached to me (so far):
- Don’t go that way.
- You will fail.
- You didn’t do more than your duty.
- Do it as I’ve done before.
- You haven’t done enough.
- You suck, your audio is not good!
- You took too long to send the message. Make shorter videos!
- Person X is much more successful than you. Do more like that person!
- I’m saying this to you because I don’t want you to get hurt.
- It’s all good… you just need to make some money out of it.
- Why are you giving this for free?
- Why do you think you can charge for that?
- You are doing badly in life because you are too nice, people don’t value you.
Most of those blockers are inside my head. And I know we need to get over and master our inner game. Most of the time I’m judging when I should be doing (or dancing).
When I publish my thoughts here, I’m part saying “omfg here we go” and I’m also saying “idgaf about what you think“.
I can control the publish part. My action. The impact, the outcome… not in my control. And that’s about most of the things we do in life.
