What we’ve got here is a failure to communicate. Really?
If you are able to tell what you are feeling, seeing and listening, you may be in a place where you can be real.
I believe the best term to describe communication is “to be intentional”.
If you are not willing to do that… nothing will happen.
But the question remains… is it a safe place? Is it real?
Most of the times, we are not into “share emotions” mode. Mostly because we are not seeing who is close to us as a good receiver. When listening, judgement needs to stay outside. If a person asks your advice or opinion (judgement) then you are allowed to say what’s on your mind.
You share feelings when you feel comfort with someone. You can tell in their eyes.
Who is able to provide that kind of safe space to you?
Those people become your safety network.
